Privacy & data handling

The audit and the ToolFit survey ask about your agency name, the person preparing it, team size, hiring types, requisition volume, your ATS/CRM, job boards, sourcing, texting/voice and scheduling tools, your workflow pain points, must-haves, and monthly tool budget. If you choose to receive the report or ask for help, we also collect your email address and any notes you write.

To keep your results available if you refresh or come back later, each run is saved to our database with a random run identifier stored in your browser. That means a run can be recorded before — or without — you ever entering an email. It contains only your survey answers and scores, and it is not linked to a person until you submit an email. Your in-progress answers are also kept in your browser's localStorage so you don't lose your place.

Answers generate the scored assessment, tool recommendations, and rollout plan shown on your results page. If you provide an email, we send you the report and may follow up about it — and, only if you tick the box asking for help, discuss implementation. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Purchases (RecruitScope Plus, the ToolFit Implementation Playbook, retainers, and project deposits) are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered directly into Stripe's hosted payment form and are never seen or stored by us. We keep a record of the product purchased, amount, currency, order status, the email used at checkout, and Stripe's customer and session identifiers so we can deliver what you bought, unlock your account, and handle refunds and support.

If you create an account, we store your email address and the purchases and subscriptions attached to it. When you sign in with the same email you used at checkout, an earlier guest purchase is matched to your account so your paid content unlocks. Subscription billing, cancellations, and payment methods are managed in Stripe's billing portal.

Recommended tools are listed for information only. We hold no affiliate relationships with any vendor, we are not paid to recommend them, and we do not send your data to them. Prices shown are typical public list prices and should be verified with each vendor.

Like any website, our hosting and platform record standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, and we log application errors so we can fix them. We also keep an internal event log of payment webhooks and access changes for troubleshooting and fraud prevention. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We send transactional email — your report, receipts, account confirmations, and password resets — from our own sending domain. You can reply to any of them or email us to stop follow-up messages.

Data is stored in Lovable Cloud (Supabase) on secure cloud infrastructure, with row-level access rules. Submitted leads, audit runs, and order records are readable only by authenticated RecruitScope administrators; your own account only ever sees your own purchases. We keep data for as long as we have an active relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete it.

Email submission is optional for the audit: you can complete it, view your score, and print or save as PDF without giving an email. Unlocking the full ToolFit plan and buying paid products do require an email address. You can ask us for a copy of your data or for it to be deleted at any time.

To request deletion of your submitted data, email hello@bethegoodmarketing.com with the agency name and email address used in the assessment. We will confirm deletion within 5 business days.
